This applies to those of you who have face book, it's a little silly but it's hilarious as well as informal.

pick 6 or so people from your friends list or one of the on going groups, usually works best with chicks and then divide it into two groups. A and B

comment group A pics with remarks like "are you mixed" "u must be half german which explains ur high cheeck bones" " u have the typical a greek nose" regardless of their physical features.

Then comment on group B's pics with something like "you look so somali" "I could never mistake you for mix or anything non-somali" etc, again regardless of their looks.

The objective of the experiment is to purely observe their reaction and the tone of their feedbacks/replies.

Why Do I feel like group A will be more appreciative?

I am sure they'd be pleased about the mixed race comment but how do they react to the Somali one?

No comment man, me and emperor once had hella fun with it.

there was a group called "guess what I am or something" and we were messing with their head like crazy.

I reckon they would take it as a compliement but their nationalistic selves would have to disagree right?

or my favorite ".....I dont speak somali" like it's a badge of honor and my reply is always "that's funny cus ur English is mediocre at best".

lol it's all about the tone bro, there are some kids/young adults who sincerely can't speak somali and then there's those that do but think it's reer magaal to deny it. The latter I have no respect for and will get a sharp rebuttal that will make their soul burn slow.

You got a point, but let's return to the Somalis being more appreciative because they are thought white. How and when did that begin? Are we culturally conditioned to feel and think this way, or we're conditioned here in the west? Why do So many youngsters think we're inferior to cadans?
