Mashallah will the people of Somalia finnally get long-lasting peace? (allah knows)
Dahir Aweys has today, confirmed defeat. He said Al-Shabaab are ready to talk to the Somali government, but under 1 condition.
What is the condition?
The condition he put, was that if AMISOM confirm the date they will leave Somalia then we will talk to the government. This condition was never expected from Al-Shabaab, as usual their condition used to be 'we won't put our weapons down until AMISOM leave' but allhamdulilah today things are different. Since the Hero of Somalia Mr. Farmaajo came into power things has turned the worse for Al-Shabaab.
These people that were demonstrating in the heat 2 months ago, have finaly got HOPE. This year was a historical year for Somalia that nobody will forget.

Sheekh Xasan Daahir Aweys waxa uu sheegay in AMISOM aysan diyaar u ahayn in ay cadeyso goorta ay ka baxayso Soomaaliya, taasina aysan suuragal ahayn in ay wada hadal la galaan inta wadanka ay joogaan ciidamadaasi oo uu sheegay in ay gumeysi u joogaan wadanka Soomaaliya.
Dhanka kale Sheekh Xasan Daahir Aweys waxa uu sheegay in la xaliyey khilaaf yar oo uu sheegay in uu u dhaxeeyey Saraakiisha Xarakada Al-shabaab.

Now lets let give them a fake date, and then takle over the rest of the country. All of the foreigners need to be headshot with Snipers. Godane and dahir aweys will be put in jail as soon as their loyal fotsoldiers are found and killed.

Today the Al kelab are begging for negotiation. We will assure them of the date, but it will be a lie. Al shabab is smart, first rule of the Somali goverment. We dont negotiate with terrorists. However we are going to pretend as if we will cater to their demands, and when we have a good hold of Kismayo and rest of Jubba. Then they are going to be arrested or killed.

Aways does not represent shabaab , second he did not even say he wanted to talk to TFG read what i quoted he said talking to the TFG is impossible right now read what i just quoted , above Second the whole AMISOM date is not going to work simple the TFG needs at least few years to train their Soldiers so that they can take over from Amisom so Shabaab knows that the Shabaab only want to talk to the TFG if Amisom leaves and that is not going to happen Amisom is not going to leave so we are at A again.

Good news, AMISOM will leave immediately al shabab disarms,sheikh shariff is too shrewd for al kebab thats why i think he will be the new siad barre

We need to train TFG troops, and we need to talk Somaliland and Puntland to provide their troops to us.

Alshabab have indicated that they have withdrawn and have change their tactics. I don't support Alshabab.
However I agree with this point they made. As I am not convinced having more Amisom troops is good for the long run.
Short term gains means they help TFG remove Alshabab but longterm will it cause Somali's to be more divided in the South? Will this then mean forceful occupation by Amisom instead of Alshabab???? Which is the lesser evil. I think AMISOM might be the lesser evil but will other tribes in Somalia agree who is a lesser evil to put up with???
This is why the Peace Conference is the place these concerns for the long-term should be addressed.
Somali people cannot keep using foreigners then complain later... make you're intentions clear from the offset or risk suspicion and divisions.

Afcourse AMISOM will leave sooner or later, our priorties is too cleanse AL-Shabab and its ideology out of Somalia.
Regarding Sheikh Shariff becoming the news Siad Barre
you have no clue.
