What do you think of when you are in your prayers specially during the Tarawiih Prayers

I most of the time think of death the here after and also how my childeren are going to live on this earth when i am no longer here and dont have my guidance, i also think allot about Sheikh salax

The billions of stars and galaxies in the world and how small I am in comparison and then maxaa igu soo dhaco something that I forgot to do or am supposed to do.

I remember being told a story about a man who was scared of needles or something, he had to have something painful done to him and he requested that it be done (getting the shot?) while he was praying so he wouldn't feel it. Being able to concentrate to that extent is amazing.

To avoid distractions,i try to read that juzz ahead of time so i can read with the Imam.Other time,i try to imagine when that ayat was revealed and how it must have felt for those near the Nabi S.a.w.

And sometimes,altho i try to catch mysel.I find myself calculating my to do list

I think of my family those who are alive and I pray for those aren't. I think of death and Peace while I'm alive. May Allah forgive us our sins and strengthen our iiman for we are weak and in need of Allah Subxaana Wat'alla. Istaqfurlil Allah.

I don't think of anything, I just empty my mind, and relax to the point where all the "chattering" in my mind gradually fades away, that way I can just focus on the prayer 100%. I don't know, what can I say, I guess this method just works for me. I don't like to think about other things while I'm in prayer, that just doesn't seem right to me, but that's just me I guess.

I also think allot about the Jannah and how allah made it so perfect that Humans can live for eternity there

That is cool. I have been trying to make my mind go blank at will and it is a lot harder than it sounds.

When you listen to the Ayat and understand its meanings it wills you into reflection and duca between raga'ad. So some may not help but think of things.
