Did Iman and Kenaan Donated to drought victims?

Did Iman and K9 donate to drought victims or they were just shedding crodcodile tears on CNN?
They are the richest Somalis, worth millions, but I didn't see them saying I'm giving out this amount, all I saw them was talking about how bad this or that is and how they feel for the ppl.
meanwhile average Somali workers such as cab drivers, factory workers, raised over a million dollar in America and Europe.

What does K'naan knowing about the religion, and Iman getting married in a church has to do with anything? you should learn how to differentiate people personal lives from humanitarian work.

I am pretty sure that Iman and K'naan donated money to the femine in Somalia. Iman is the spokes person for Unicef and she is also invoved in "I'm African campaign". Iman has done a lot for Somalis, first during 1992 femine when she went back and help the dying Somalis and now this femine. I also know that in 2001 she sponsored 159 somali people to come to United state, I know some people who she sponsored. She is pretty involved in helping out Somalis and she is proud to be Somali and that should be the end of it. Who she married and what she does is neither your bussiness nor mine.

I am sure those two individuals has done more for Somalis than half of the Somalis in the diaspora.

I'd lose respect for them if they got up in front of cameras and starting talking (bragging) about how much they donated...so it's better they kept it quiet if they really did donate anything. If they didn't, it's their money and they're entitled to spend it how they want...at the end of the day, they're no more obligated to donate than anybody else (especially Somalis) who can afford to donate anything.

Be it big or small am sure they gave something, i dont know any Somali who did not.

K'naan is working with Bono's ONE, and Iman is the Ambassador for Unicef or Save the children, Cant remember. Having both use their connections and whatever media platforms they are on to actively get people to donate, IMO, goes a lot further than a few pennies.

I doubt that they hiding it because of religion, they hardly religious. but they could encourage ppl
