Effort vs talent aka intelligence

Which finishes last? I ask this because I am 70% effort and the rest is talent and I end up wit good grades. My older brother is 30% effort and the rest is talent and he also ends with good grades In middle school I used to tell him the material was too simple and didnt need much brain . Now I tell him he studies privately because he is in med school and he makes it like its simple. What do you think? Now is not a good time to kick in your psychology 101, so dont. Discuss!

I agree with him. You are right some people don't need to put in as much effort as others to understand a concept but those who put in the most effort always end up being the most gifted.

Effort always trumps talent/intelligence. You can be the smartest person in the world but if you don't apply yourself, you won't achieve much.
