SPP=Somaliland People's Party.

The old man played his cards right so far. He saw Qaran was sinking ship, hitched Kulmiye for a ride to victory in return Silaanyo promised he will open the gates for the formation of new political parties to be added on . He took up interim position in Kulmiye govt and sucked. We all knew he had no interest in serving behind the scenes. This man is after the Presidential seat.

There are just rumors that Gaboose is joining the somaliland peoples Party a party organized by Locals in Somaliland , Not sure how he going to fit in, But its clear Gaboose wants to become Somalilands president, we shall see how it goes, here is a website of the Party http://www.somalilandpp.com/.

As for the next election people say that Gaboose is not liked by His clan in particular the h.y. elders The Likes of Dhugad and Ina Xirsi qani. But then again they don't make the choices for the people Somaliland the citizens do. If Gaboose Can convince the eastern H.Y. clan reer Sanaag reer sool SacadYoonis And Muse Care and Muuse Ismacil to support him and the rest of the people of Somaliland will also vote for him. It depends also who is going to run for UDUB. Gaboose needs to come with a good plan a good Campaign Plan and his party Program must be clear. Also it depends who his running mate is and from what region he will be from.

Emperior do you fear being honest with Habar Yonis? We all know you would let a Marehan be president of Somaliland before the esteemed Dr. Gaboose and even in this round completely support your Sacad Muuse ina adeer for president.

I don't Support Musa Bixi because he is Habarawal or sacadmuse but because he has great leadership Skills and charismatic leader and i think he Will be a great leader for Somaliland now my Support is not final for Muse Biixi. i am still looking for other candidates in Somaliland but for now Muse Seems the right candidate for the Job. Somalistan in my opinion Dr.Gaboose's chances depend on if he can gain the support of Tolka and other Somaliland communities. For starters before the xisbiiyada cusub elections happen he should go to every H.Y deegaan in Somaliland from Northern Sool to Waqooyi Galbeed and convince the influential elders of those communities why their communities should support him and why he is the right man for the job. The other good option would be to have a H.Y grand conference somewhere in Burco, Aw-Barkhadle, Maydh, Ceerigaabo or Oodweyne of which politician of Beesha should recieve our undivided vote.

as a habar yonis what he did was good but as a somalilander what he did was not good and not professional he should not have just left the goverment like that it seems like he used it to get his name known even more man just got fame off kulymie

never paid much attention to politics in general, so im really not in-tuned with sland politics like some members here but i really want to know is why open more parties? when the current system seemed to function and produced government with good approval on the back of 'fair and transparent' elections.
