Not only us, but our bredrins across the sea in Yemen dont benefit from it either. Nor does Sudan. Or any other Arab country.

Its a pointless organisation. Probably the most useless political body ever, shortly followed by the African Union

Yes it is a useless group, but it has helped us in the past many times.

For example we bought oil from saudi arabia for a price much reduced from the original market price. We have been receiving arms & arabs have been there for us when we were strong.

The real useless group is the AU. Despite it sending military.

- In today's famine, the Arab world's response has resulted in more than $500 million in the form hard cash and tons of food-aid, that reliefing our people directly.

Compare this to the African Union countries, whose forces are responsible for atleast 40000 dead civilians in the form of direct military invasion in 2006, and subsequent indiscriminate shelling in rezidential areas, and they aren't there out of pan-african sentiment, they get hundreds of millions of dollars from Amerikkka in terms of arms and money. Even during the Famine summit, 50 COUNTRIES didn't even have the respect to attend in Somalia's most desparate moment as solydarity, and to make to worse the amount that has been pledged when stripped down is barely 50 million, even the African Development Bank figure of $300 million is a farce, as that is a estimate of how much they will spend on the Horn in decades to come, while the Organisation of Islamic Co-operation led by Turkey combined contribution is more $600 million, 250 million from the Turkish people.
