The meeting, held at the Ministry of Planning & International Cooperation in Puntland, was officially opened by the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation,DR. Daud Mohamed Omar, with the participation of four experts representing the European Union and ministries from the productive sector in Puntland. The experts gave briefing on previous support from EU and informed that the main aim of the meeting was to outline strategy of support on economic development.
To conclude the meeting the minister raised expectation that the EU will make follow ups on what has been funded and work towards achieving tangible results
