On October 16th, we will invite Somali Minnesotans and Minnesotans at large to run and walk a 5k to collectively learn from each other and make a positive impact in Somalia, which is currently undergoing a severe humanitarian crisis and widespread famine.

3.7 million people in Somalia, more than half the country's population, require immediate humanitarian assistance. This is one of the world's worst humanitarian crises, and your help is needed.

Come support the relief efforts by participating in a fun run 5k at East River Flats park by the Mississippi River in downtown Minneapolis.

The 5k event will be a unique celebration of sport, family fun, community building, and neighbors joining together to raise awareness and garner support for Somalia.

*All proceeds will go directly to American Refugee Committee International*
