My understanding is that gog and magog will apear before nabi Issa (as) come.

There were already research done about this, and the results do not reflect the finding of this theory; it was disprove numerous times, even through genetic tests. The Khazars also certainly are not hidden in history but are a well known tribe. Your view is popular amongst conspiracy theorists, but not among historians, Muslims intellectuals and Jews.
