You don't have faith because of your history, you have faith because you believe in its salvation, perfection and what you think you will achieve keeping that faith. What is your view on jesus as a mormon? That would interesting to know.

The Mormon view is that Jesus is the archangel Michael, who contended with Lucifer in the preexistance to create the plan for salvation. Jesus championed free will. Lucifer championed predestination, or forced salvation for everyone.. They then came to Earth as Jesus and the Devil. The one promotes knowledge and self control, the other the opposite.

My view is that Hesua was a great teacher whose teaching was seized upon and altered unrecognizably by the Romans. Read John 20:17 again. "Your Father and my Father, your God and my God. " That's Biblical.
