Faraxs born after 1980 can cook reasonably well. I know many who are good at it.

Odeyaasha who got married in Somalia are the ones who usually cant even make a cup shaah for themselves.

@ Beenale, Not true. In fact my dad who was born in the 1950s can cook just fine. And guess what, a geeljire at heart waliba ka sheekee.

One of my brothers was born after 1980s..he cannot cook to svae his life.He loathes house-related work. Whereas another who was born in the late 70s used to cook as a teen.

Some odayaal used to say it is ceeb for a man to be seen in a kitchen and the like that is where it stems from I think.

lol! And who was her boy-friend?

PS: Plus, this is just acting, abti. It doesn't mean they are together in real life (though they might be dating; don't know).

Did you ever watch old Somalia ruwaayado, before the civil-war? This will be like nothing compared to how they used to act in those plays.

In ruwaayado they would be standing mostly and touching themselves unneccesarily, so, apart from the stupid niiko iyo waxa baas, as I recall they were not hugging eachother on a seat. You could even sense the actresses were more modest when they acted like you could sense their xishood or at least they pretended.
