I don't know whether she's a muslim or not laakiin since he's a man she doesn't have to be as long as she's a christian or a jew

yeah but the whole point of marrying a christian or a jew is that you can eventually teach them the deen, otherwise I think its only going to put him in a strain the rest of his life if he's religious.

technically if you marry a christain or a jew, she does not have to convert.

and you will have to defend her right to practice her religion, even go as far as taking her to church or synagogue.
