This Hutuking is a hater who always repeats any bad news that is reported in PL.

May the agents of destabilization aka Al-Shabaab fail in their mission to wreck havoc on the stability that exists in PL.

Obviously, you have not been reading my comments in later part of this year. Al-Shabaab's leadership has failed all Muslims in Somalia by not executing clear plan of Somali statehood. Their goal has become endless military conflict that is only imposed on South, Central, and PL State of Somalia. The Al-Qaeda claim was a clear move that deliniated from restoring a sustainable peace in Somalia. They can't evict 12,000 AMISOM forces, and here they are calling war on the rest of the world.

Al-Shabaab's policy on the environment is very destructive. The continuation of the forest burning for charcoal export purposes is the one of the main causes of draughts in Somalia. Saving the environment is part of our deen, deliniating from it means this group is not pursuing Islamic state but on other agenda.

Many Somalis who are from Southern Somalia have reported how Al-Shabaab leaders were buying huge lands in areas adjacent to the rivers, and actually using that land for their own purposes.

Al-Shabaab's denying food aid for the needy was another major blunder on their part.

Many Somali Islamic scholars have also voiced against Al-Shabaab's interpretation of Sharia La, and how it is carrying out. Al-Shabaab's AMniyaat forces have been accused of carrying out grave human rights violations in all areas under Al-Shabaab including politically motivated killings.

No Somali can tell you what is Al-Shabaab's agenda on Somalia. They can't articulate clear plan that people of Somalia can see and understand where the end goal is. If Taliban can reject Al-QAEDA nonsense and stated their demands of all foreign forces withdrawing from Afghanistan, and assured the neighbouring countries they are not threat to them, what stops Al-Shabaab from adopting a similar path?

In my view, we suffered enough and all Somalis should undertand political dialogue should overtake violence. I went to Somalia in the last 2 years and saw my own eyes the endless IDPs and countless orphans. There has to be way out of this mayhem!

I thought this was internal security unrest in puntland not something to do with Alshabaab. alshabaab never claimed to be in puntland, and there is no evidence that they carry out any operations. this is more like political unrest in puntland, but they like to ignore it and blame it on outside forces.

There is no doubt the rank-and-file of Al-Shabaab are men and women who want the best for their country, but the biggest obstacle to any transformations within this movement is the leadership.
