Ok, Say, You are Married to a Single Mother. Her "EX" is in town and loves his Kids. He comes by every Weekend to help the kids with home work or give them the Daddy's Love. He does not come inside your house. Just calls the Wife to dress the Kids up and bring it in the parking lot. The Mother has to put the Kids in his car or tighten the Safety belt. The guy is Actively In Your Private Life. You and Him rub shoulders almost every weekend. He does not seem to go away. The guy is here to stay. He didn't choose to be in your life. You chose to marry his Kid's mom . He can't be locked out because it is also into the interest of the kids to have their daddy's Around.

Would you Accommodate that?

why not ?
why would you want to deny the chance a child that is innocent?
Also you knew who you were marrying and should have made a clear agreement in the beginning.

I also think that you should treat the child as yours so that your kids can have a better relationship with him/her.

Because if this kid becomes juvenile he will actually influence your kids.

Sounds like you're already handling it. But if there is a cold war between you two, the kids will sense it.

Dee it is against the protocol. He is a stranger like any other man in the street. He can't come another man's home without his invitation. Meeshu maaha maqaayad dee?

Doesn't sound like you have a problem. Unless you are saying you just can't stand the sight of him?

I won't put it that way, but that seem to be the problem.

When u accepted to marry a single mother,u inevitably inherited her package.

Unless u r jealous of the dude coz he was there before u kinda way, there shouldnt be a problem. He seems to want to be in his kids life.Maybe having a normal hello here and there with him might ease the tension.

I don't think I'd ever get myself involved in a situation like that.

what protocol? I dont think he is a stranger unless your house is used by the central bank to deposit valuables .
