This Ethinic group is the largest Ethnic group in Ethiopia with the biggest land yet they are slaves in their own country how can this be?

Low IQ and selfhatred.
Also they are disunited by subclans and religion.

i have also wondered for quite a long time. with a population like that almost 30 million, they would be the undisputed east Africa king, we would be their subjects. but there must be a serious problem with them. maybe bareento can elaborate more on this

Truth be told Oromos are not a proper ethnic group, it includes vastly different groups with totally different origins. So they are disorganized and many don't see each other as kin. The Habesha leeches take advantage of this.

Like McKuus said, many Oromos don't look at one another as Kin.
Everyone is doing his and her own things, and there ain't any ponit in trying to have power with Oromos. Once that happens, Oromos will be going after one another like theres no tomorrow. We'd do more damage to ourselves then we'd do to other groups. The only time Oromos were ever united was when they were all Waaqist, had one religion, one language, the Gadaa sytem, and one culture. Now you have The Orthodox pro ethiopians, Phenxees in the west who rule OLF and destroyed the organization. The Arussi who are the tribalist group who have Arsuumma instead of Oromumma. And you should get the point, We are divided on political terms, religion, clans-tribes, regions, and the list goes on.

There is no need in Oromos ruling anything in that land, all you'd see is what happend in Somalia 20 years ago but somewhat worse.
OLF and Oromiyaa

There is no such thing as Oromo, it is a false identity created out of thin air. This so called ethnic group needs to be disbanded and separated for its own good. Eastern Oromos should totally adopt the Somali culture and become Somalis. Northern Oromos should just call themselves Amhara since they lost their Oromo culture through expansion by the Abyssinians. Western Oromo should look to become part of South Sudan and Gambella. Those in central of Ethiopia should be divided equally between North, West and West and join the respective ethnic group closely to them. Oromos are the Niggers of the Horn

Oromos [Eastern Oromos specifically] are our closest ally culturally and ethnically.

Unified Oromos does not guarantee success. Look at Somalia, one ethnic group, one language, one culture, one religion etc. and we are still at each other's throat. And Somalia only have a population of 9 million. The Somali dispute was bad enough, imagine a 35-40 million population with a dispute and civil war.
