in an Op Ed written by Prince Turki Al Faisal ibn Saud...the influential son of the late King Faisal whose brothers are the current Foreign Minister and the Governor of Mecca...he says the US needs to think seriously before blocking the Palestinian independence vote in UN or risk losing an ally in Saudi Arabia...he says Saudi Arabia will no longer be an ally of the US, will oppose the US in Iraq, Afghanistan, in Yemen, etc

Somehow I know the Jewish lobby in the US is too strong, but Saudi Arabia's very visible threat now makes the enmity and friction between US diplomats/pentogan and the Jewish lobby even more pronounced.

You're right Laakiin the US is putting a lot of pressure on that donkey Abbas.Not to take the vote to the Security Council.America wants to have it's cake and eat it too.It's even pressuring the Europeans to come down heavy on the Palestinians to urge them to take the vote to the General Asembly rather that the Security Council.The US know they have no choice but to tow the Zionist line and veto if the Palestiniansdo that.

nor the military strengh to dare talk back to the US. Saudi is a joke just like the Palestinian "authority", watch them back out of this in the last minute and if, IF somehow they find the courage to go through with it...well I doubt it will change much if anything.
