Is Libya in civil war?
Reminds me exactly of Somalia after the rebels seized Mogadishu. Two major camps in the country exist, pro and anti-government but with so many actors and factions and groups involved
The rebels have taken over Tripoli but they have seen no other success taking over the country

Re: Is Libya in civil war?
I was actually disgusted to hear of how rebels hunted black Africans. I mean they went from door to door and raped women and took their men. Asking yourself are they actually looking for the mercenaries or are they exhibiting their animalistic tendancies?
so the thing is Libya is going down and its only when?

If we only had the diplomatic, financial and military support from the EU, US, Arab League in 1991 against the Marxist regime, Somalia would have been at peace for 20 years.

what do you mean? are you saying if you had the diplomatic, financial and military support from the EU etc to increase the scale of death and destruction somalia would be in peace?AbdiWahab252 wrote:If we only had the diplomatic, financial and military support from the EU, US, Arab League in 1991 against the Marxist regime, Somalia would have been at peace for 20 years.
Re: Is Libya in civil war?
Well the Gadhafians used Black African Mercenaries to fight for them, so of course the average Libyan will be suspicious of every black African they see.
Those who killed innocent Blacks should be sentenced, but I cannot blame ordinary Libyans for hating those who joined the wrong side.
I disagree with NATO being there in the first place, ideally it should have been only Arab states helping them. But I'm glad that Gadhafi was not able to aerially bomb his people which was close to happening.
The Rebels are winning and unlike Somalia in the civil-war, they have done their home-work and have already set up a Constitution and a Government and are ready.
They have my prayers.

Patriot,
Nah, the Marxist regime would have surrendered and the Tripartite Alliance would have formed a coalition government and the Marxist regime would have joined in reconciling.

Libyans have no prayers from me apart from the miskiin black Africans.
Libyans have always been xenophobic and racists.
They are using the term "mercenary" thing to cover up for the attrocities they are committing. Gadaffi has his own loyalists and why would he use foreign mecenaries who do not know the country well.

When MSB left xamar it was expected that the USC would restore law and order but the aftermath was tragic.AbdiWahab252 wrote:Patriot,

Are you mad?
It is clear as the sun that Gadhafi is using Black Africans as mercenaries just as Somali Gov. in the civil-war used South African Mercenaries

Patriot,
If the USC-SNM-SPM had the same kind of support as the Libyan Rebels, there would have had to be no shots fired for control of Xamar. The Marxists would have been forced to make peace and MSB would have been forced to retire in Rome.
