Unlike the big Somali hero names like sayid mohamed abdule hassan, Axmed guray Xalane and others , Elman Ali Ahmed is unknown Somali hero one success good role model a young Somali diaspora and His story. Elman Ali Ahmed A was a young Somali Diaspora who went to Germany mid 1980's to Study and finished his Electronic Engineering Masters in Germany. Late 1988, Elman Ali Ahmed went back to Somalia to help his country economic growth and opened the fist franchise Electronic shops, " Elman Electronics " in and around Mogadishu and before he move to the other parts of Somalia, the civil war broke out and Somali government collapsed. The hero Elman, start helping the unfortunate young street kids better known as " Ciyaal koolo dhuuq" and the kids who lost every thing parents, and family who had nothing During the war, he gave them food shelter, shoe shining equipments and open-up Electronic Schools to teach them Electronics then employ them in his own company. Elman Also was the solo company to supply electronics in Mogadishu during the wars he also had the well known Club Elman FC, who help youth for sports activities. In 1992 severe drought strike south Somalia bay bakool region and because of the going wars famine is declared, large amoun of Somali woman and children fled from by and gedo region to Mogadishu this is the time known as " Somalia restore hope". Young Elman Ali Ahmed, saw the devastation of his people suffering, He open up feeding place for the woman and children, also expand his schools used his own money to feed, educate and employ most of the refugees from the drought, the UN and others acknowledged his big hear and later after he died open Elman peace organization to continue his work. Elman Ali Ahmed was a a peace maker , he build a Mosque near K4 zope Tower, and was the Imaam. Elman Ali Ahmed was the victim of an apparently political killing in Mogadishu on 9 March 1996. He was shot in the back by three so far unidentified hooded gunmen near his home in the conflict-torn southern part of the city, which is controlled by General Mohamed Farah Aideed. O Allah! Forgive Elman Ali Ahmed . O Allah! Surely Elman Ali Ahmed is under Your protection, and in the rope of Your security, so save him from the trial of the grave and from the punishment of the Fire. You fulfill promises and grant rights, so forgive him and have mercy on him. Surely You are Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. Elman Ali Ahmed REST IN PEACE!

You never heard of the Elman center? It is the most important Somali-formed think tank in the world. It deals in conflict resolution and civic building. I just didn't know about the namesake's history until now. Inspirational man

This is a lie. People from Gedo were fleeing Mogadishu and not the other way around. They were getting killed in Mogadishu by the Moryaans. Elman allah u naxariisto he had a garage for car repair and other electronic things in every district in xamar and he used to help the kids and ex-child soldiers his moto was QORI DHIG QALIN QAADO he established elman FC and yes he had dreads AUN i met him twice and i know his nephew he is my skool classmate ..allahu naxariisto elman when everyone was running from the war he is running toward it to save the somali pple
