Somali run property project in Tanzania

Post by Executive »

Very impressive, if we had peace and stability in our country and I think we would be able to rebuild in a short time. Its a $627.6 million housing project in Dar Es Salaam.

My understanding is the Tanzanian government intervened this project and Treasury department put a hold on some of the projects. As far as I know, this group is not investing in Tanzania any more.

Here we go again, This reminds me of your Dahabshiil stories and other fake claims you run around with on the forum. The Tanzanian government is a shareholder in this project. Last time I was in Tanzania I saw the project going on myself.

They are selling off plan and finished properties as we speak, and there posting updates on the website if you have a look. Local banks are even offering mortgages to buyers since last week.

The only thing Somalis have today is money, but they are not investing their homelands because of fear, and every markets in Africa and middle east is taking advantage of them, my last trip in Kenya I was shocked the amount of money these dumb reer koonfureed are investing in Kenya, there are upper class enclave neighborhoods in Nairobi and Mombasa suburbs that exclusively targeting the Somali community, near the Nairobi Airport there was this large empty land that I was told all of the properties were already sold to Somali people before they even started building it, the same thing is happening in Uganda, and Tanzania.

Somalis are throwing several billions of Dollars in Kenya and other east African countries, if they invested that money in Somalia most of the people would have enough jobs to sustain their lives and the war may ended.

Their needs to be peace, security and a proper government which can cooperate and fund; in Somalia before development anywhere near the scale of this project happens. The primary reason why Somalis are running away from their native country and are investing and building places such as Eistleigh is also for the above reasons. Did you know there are more Ethiopian doctors working in Chicago than there are in Ethiopia.

This is a grand property project driven by Somalis its worth a mention me thinks.

I suspect this another scum ! I recall years back when somalis in the diaspora were told about investment opportunities in UAE; they bought a pig in a bag; they fell for the fake pictures and the few faataxas from the cheats.

It was the case in Kenya; various so called wadaads started a real estate scum businesses .

Beware of frauds and buy a property in the west because you have strong institutions that promote property rights.
