Bout the oil: Does Monk-of-Mogadishu know something we don't

Post by D-Runner »

His name has popped up on many Google search concerning Puntland's oil and I'm beginning to wonder if he knows something we don't.

Even his posts are cited for a source:

Monk, it's about time you come clean... perhaps we can discuss this in secrecy and take it to private among beesha.

I think we can assume that there is some truth to 'monks' claim, otherwise why talk in such a positive way, it makes logical sense that work on the rig could be at the stage of setting up before spudding, under strict security?

The man in charge of Puntland, Farole is the same lineage as Monk, Iise Mahmud. I don't know what you all are giggling about but because of his close ties to the President of Puntland the possibility of him being armed with some classified information through his father, uncle, cousin, etc. is there.

I'm sure at the end of the day he is the last one laughing. Times like this is when we should all be wishing we were Iise Mahmud.

shit! I might be jealous of Monk. :x

It just makes me think even lower about these "oil entities" that a small posting in an obscure ethnic forum is their only claim to legitimacy. Can't imagine the info on BP's drilling plans will source a net post in an obscure forum in their index page.

Yeah sure there is an oil scam going on in puntland, just like in Somaliland.
It won`t amount to much though, maybe some movement on an obscure commodities/metals index in the west.

When will somali`s in the diaspora realise there aint no white man in shining armour gonna come riding in to build the country.
The future of the country is in our own hands. Its time to shed the welfare mentality y`all!
