Re: Somalia's business sector set for transformation
When the war on terrorism in Somalia finally comes to an end. The goverment should support business owners with storage facilities, cheap property & establish regulation that can clearly stipulate what can be sold and what is illegal to sell.
Otherwise we will be having these small shops in the middle of every dusty road blocking cars and selling fake medecine. So what i am saying is that the goverment should not try to involve itself in the private sector, but it should assist them in having structure and informing them about goverment regulation & laws regarding conducting business.
Remember we do not want a crazy eastleigh situation in the capital.

Absolutely, the government should set laws and regulation towards businesses. Including fair taxiation.Coeus wrote:When the war on terrorism in Somalia finally comes to an end. Taxation at this point would only hinder the growth of a private sector and could possibly discourage new investment imo.XimanJaale wrote:Absolutely, the government should set laws and regulation towards businesses. They rule the majority of the south, save for Mogadishu, Galgaduud, and parts of Gedo.XimanJaale wrote:They don't rule all of the Southtightrope wrote:HAVE THE SOUTHIES FORGOT THAT ALSHABAB RULE SOUTHERN SOMALIA?
