I have to agree with that thread. I've been on Slife for years, I've read SOL, I've also visited Qarxis every now-and-then. Given that these are the sites with the most traffic, and are very likely the Google results when one wants to learn more about Somalia/Somalis, I'll have to say that Snet is probably the most offensive of the group. I just don't understand many of the users on this site. Why? Why? I don't get it, and don't think I ever will.

Snet is a Somali-run and Somali-oriented site. Topix is a site for all. Pretty much anything goes.

I strike it down to an individual issue. I find it interesting to see people from other sites discussing clan bs here, that they rarely did elsewhere. Snet is deemed a qabiil fighting ground by everyone. It's pretty much known. That, and the disgusting racism you'll find on here really doesn't paint the best picture for Somalis.

But whatever. You don't eat a pie hot and people will be people.
