This years 21 October

Post by abdalla11 »

How come it wasn't celebrated? I remember last year several threads were created and almost everyone of them reached 8+ pages, everybody including Hyperactive were writing essays

Why isnt it celebrated on Snet this year?

What's the point in celebrating something that's no longer relevent though
It's like Russians celebrating the 1917 Revolution

Its more like a remembrance day, ive never seen Somalis signifying the anniversary on the streets or studios like the landers do, secondly i would say the 21st October is equivalent to something more like the Bastile day is for the French which is celebrated.

Storming of the Bastille prison is what eventualy led them to being a Repuplic
Which is why France celebrates Bastille day
Somalia so called "Kacaan" has no relevance whatsoever in todays Somali
So you comparison is false
