Kenyan patronship is the future for Jubbaland.

Post by Voltage »

My position has nothing to do with religion or morality, just pure pragmatism. The Habesh carry historical baggage with Somalis and because of that really do not want peace in Somalia. It is part of their grander aim for Somalis all over the country. Also, the Habesh is like the Somali in the general basis of culture and custom and society. Highly unsuitable for modern development.

The Kenyan Bantu is a civilized man who is about business, civilized politics, and professionalism. Besides the usual corruption, he wants nothing more than a full day's work, beer in the evening and ugaali for dinner. Also the Kenyan has no grand ambitions for Somalis as a whole in the Peninsula and so his interaction with Jubbaland will be limited to the issues surrounding Jubbaland and will be honest in that scope even if there is self-interest. He doesn't need to worry about using Jubbaland for a grander scheme to keep Somalis down throughout the region.

Also, the Kenyan Bantu is by culture and customs very Western nowadays, markedly pragmatic where Somalis and Habesh are emotional, markedly low-key where the Habesh and Somali are eccentric, markedly more composed where the Somali and Habesh are flamboyant, and is going to conduct himself with the foresight to advance in this world using other developed nations as competitors while the Habesha will just be obsessed about his standing in an impoverished sub-region much like a Somali will be obsessed about the standing of his clan in the most poorest country on earth. It is a big difference in priority we need to take into consideration; we will mutually rise higher with the advancing Kenyan Bantu.

Yes, Kenyan patronship is the future. I hope we pass over this little hurdle. Kenya needs to start considering the little Azania thing a liability and should start anew being fair and equitable between the clans of Jubbaland. Once this takes place, I would even support them forcefully putting down any Sade mutiny if it arises.

So let me get this right, You Feel somehow the Bantu in Kenya is not Favorable to your clan and want that to change for you to fully support their mission in the deep south? Weren't you the one in here always wanting to secede from Somalia and Join Kenya?

Sxb, we, Somalis, are all starting out being biased towards our clans. The solution for us is to go to the middle where we are equal, where no one has an advantage over the other. I don't want an administration that is biased for my clan nor an administration biased against my clan (Azania). We are both far from where we need to see a solution which is a resting point where there is no bias. I am advocating Kenya to straddle that point and be the magnet that draws all of us Jubbalanders in to that stage. There we will herald a fair and equitable administration that truly pushes Jubbaland to the stars.

Yes, I am markedly pro-Kenya.

Unfortunately I do not speak Swahili. But I am in the process of buying a Rosetta Stone software on Swahili in which I hope to become fluent 6 months after. To answer your question neither. I respect what the flag of Kenya stands for and how the Kenyan Bantus never lose an opportunity to better themselves and strengthen the unity of their diverse nation.

He has a point in a way.

Just look at Kenya for example; yes they have done Somalis wrong in the past. However unlike Ethiopia, Somalis in Kenya have made political inroads and are actually flourishing in Kenya under its economic environment. While Somalis in Ethiopia have no say in their daily operations and all must report to the TPLF and they are literally being starved and forced into submission which hasn’t worked thankfully due to the hard work of ONLF.
I think Kenya has had enough; they no longer want to see a destabilized Somalia in anarchy since it affects them much more than Ethiopia. Somalis pour into Kenya not Ethiopia for obvious reasons.

Radicalization is dangerous as well since Kenya coastal regions have a strong Islamic history. Kenya has strike gold with this invasion, they will create the long desired buffer zone and a region which will look fvaourable to Kenya and cut off Al Shabab’s financial and military source thus practically killing off the insurgency. This Azania project will have a huge say in Somalia’s future which will benefit Kenya and Somalia.

Oxident, it is simply unbecoming to compare the civilized Kenyan Bantu to the Ethiopian Habesh who are just as uncivilized in modernity as the Somali. Comparing support for Kenyan involvement to Ethiopian interference is a false equivalence. The distinction has to be made on pragmatic grounds.

Agreed, also one must differentiate between the Islamic Courts and Al Shabab, two different entities with different ideologies also through their actions as well.

I personally see this as the light at the end of the tunnel. Removal of Al Shabab is pinnacle for the redevelopment of Somalia. Once they are ruthlessly disposed then we can say with nation building. Hoping federalism is the way,

People against this are those who have adapted well to anarchy and enjoy the refugee lifestyle. They are against this because of pride and arrogance and don’t really care about the development of Somalia.

Voltage you also forgot to add.
People forget something important here, When USC (with the military assistance of Mengistu) was looting , killing , plundering and displacing innocent civilians in Somalia's Capital it was Kenya that opened up its arms to accommodate those that were less fortunate. Indeed they allowed them to stay as refugees and do business there.

Then when the same savages advanced further and continued their attrocities to Kismayu targeting a single group it was not an act of nationalism/patriotism but genocide. When the victims reached the Somali border(Dhobley) and still the culprits were crying for their blood. It reached a point where the victims said enough is enough and Kenya (the enemy) became a blessing as it offered them means to repel them. Kismayu turned into Stalingrad and the culprits ran for their lives all the way to the capital.

today the same culprits who are supposed to stand trial at the ICC have infact turned advocators for somali unity and nationalism and want us to shed with them their crocodile tears.

We ask ourselves who is the lesser evil?

Oxident-

To be honest even if push comes to shove and Azania is the defining administration of the day, I not only call on my clan to accept it but join it enmasse. At some point someone has to compromise for the benefit of all!
