'Almost' 3 months. Because the last pay checks were from May before the elections, 26 June the elections to place and afterwords no goverment funds were spend and 26 july Siilanyo's goverment took over and most of his cabinet were sworn in august, with Mahamed Hashi as last in end of august. And in september the new cabinet realized it has been 3 months since election and civil servants were not paid.The_Emperior5 wrote:Chief caaqil maxamad xaashi said that rayaales admin did not pay the civil servants for almost 3 months

Its a bit, down the belt to use this argument against Riyaale's goverment while it was a period of transition. And salaries are mostly paid late in Africa.
Funny thing is, that teachers were complaining in january of this Year that they havent received salary in 3 months.
