Looks like both Addoow and Rovingmadass celebrated too early
We support Kenya's operation inside Somalia because they support, train and provide other military support to our troops to defeat al Shabaab and we are very grateful to Kenya," Prime Minister Abdiweli Mohamed Ali said in an interview.

"But we have to understand one thing: Somalia has the lead, our military has the lead in all operations taking place inside Somalia," he said late on Wednesday.

Not only did PM Gaas reaffirmed his original stand but he also spoke the world's language saying Sheikh Sharif's (Roseto) "hee haw" on Monday was misunderstood.

And to be clear on who is towing whose line here is Reuters take on who between PM Gaas and Roseto retreated:
Somalia's president cast doubt on his government's support for the incursion on Monday. On Wednesday, Mogadishu reiterated there was no deal with Kenya to send in its troops, but said the prime minister would now liaise with Nairobi.

The Somali government has so far stopped short of asking Kenyan troops to leave and the prime minister's comments show the authorities appear to accept the incursion, which has the backing of Western allies supporting the Mogadishu government.
Not only did Roseto retreat but he also send an envoy for damage control to rescue his sorry behind

p.s. I'm actually quit thrilled to hear the prime minister would liaise with Nairobi; the task of establishing a federal state for Kismaayo and that region in particular will after all be a Kablalax affair. The best of luck to PM Gaas, Mohamed Yusuf Haji Kenya's Minister for Defence, and the deputy speaker of the Kenyan parliament, Farah Maalim.

My boy has yet again done me proud

no worries bro. we just exchanging opinions.

i agree with you that you cannot compare the two. one has something to negotiate, example, his region has administration, relatively peace and no clan wars (at least is controllable). rich with their resource, such port and business.

labada rag isku mid ma aha. but will not fix what needed to fix. to bring government and peace. clown show will continue.

Gaas is a new kind of leader. Its not fair to compare the political tact of a Harvard-educated reer Mudug to a Dugsi-educated reer Jowhar. Its just not fair.

And Puntland comes out in support of Kenya’s military intervention reaffirming President Farole’s stand regarding the matter:
Puntland State of Somalia, Garowe

PRESS RELEASE
27 October 2011

Puntland Government Supports Kenya Intervention in Southern Somalia

Following the Puntland President’s remarks on 19 October in London and again on 26 October in Garowe, the Government of Puntland State of Somalia supports the Kenyan military intervention in parts of southern Somalia to bolster the ongoing Somali-led military campaign aimed at dislodging Al Shabaab terrorists from Jubba Valley regions.

It is not surprising to recall that the Kenyan Government trained forces of the Transitional Federal Government (TFG) inside Kenya, aiming to liberate the Jubba Valley regions and to ensure the security of Somali regions bordering Kenya. This initiative has produced tangible results in Gedo region and parts of Lower Jubba region.

Puntland Government does not see the Kenyan military intervention as a violation of Somali sovereignty, as the security interest of the whole IGAD region is inter-connected.

In line with the IGAD Communiqué of June 2010, Kenya has a legitimate right to defend its own security and to provide assistance to Somalis already engaged to liberate their home regions from terrorist groups, including many foreign fighters.

As terrorist groups pose a great threat to the peace, security and stability of Somalia and the wider region, it remains vitally important to implement a holistic common strategy to neutralize the terrorist threat in the whole region.

the Dugsi teacher also has to be protected from the Somalis by an invading force of AMISOM soilders who have no mandate from the people.
they bomb somali civilians and no one sheds a tear for the somalis.

They control all major facilities like the ports and Villa somalia.

Traditional armies of somalia did not destory the Somali capital, they did not displace them and make them refugees inside the enemies territory.

A/Weli is not going to step down as this is the begging of clipping the powers of Sharif. Juboyinka is just a buffer zone.

Patriot,AMISOM is there because of the parliament vote and i dont support their presence, however,a neighboring kenya which already occupies somalia speaking people and treat them like second class citizens can not just invade somalia and do what ever it wants. They will fail just like the ethiopians and what ever gacan ku rimis they try to install as a buffer zone will vanish with them.
