can we rule our own country?

Post by Nomand »

can somalis come together and rule our own country without some 3rd world bantu telling what to do? our forefathers must be turning in their graves at some bantu in kenya or uganda trying to rule over us.

we need to forget about clan. qabiil is what made us refugees today in westren countries.

I think it is actually worse for the under 30s, we show the same negative behaviors our fathers did and we are more zealous. To everyone, however much they lie, it is Clan interests before Somalinimo! Be it Puntlanders supporting Ethiopian invasion to protect their President or Ogadens supporting Kenyan invasion because their clan might get power. Lost cause, I say!

Somalia will end-up balkanized in the end.

so the only solution in somalia is a strong man a dictator ? i saw a documentry made by the bbc that talked about the coup of siyad barre they said that somalia was going through a bitter division every sub sub sub clan made its own political party and that is when siyad barre took control.

so does somalia need a strong man? a military man? it seems we only know the whip

every somali thinks they are a king and only want to rule their clan lands...

there is never going to be a somalia until some sort of nationalist ideology springs about, but unfortunately this won't happen with the same cast of characters running the show spewing short sighted goals and not realizing the benefit of wider long term goals for the Somali people to prosper as a whole

really unfortunate we don't have much of a history as a collective group of people outside of 30 yrs
