War in Ceerigabo, Police cheif Revenged today.

So today the Police cheif of Fiqifuliye was visiting Cerigabo and he was killed beesha Nalaya Ahmed in Ceerigabo revenged him by killing 2 & injuring one.

The Clans of Sanaag were suppose to meet in a peace conference in 2 months but Somalilanders don't want peace.

Clan elders are in the middle now to mediate it, but it keeps coming back every few months. It is basically tit-for-tat.

Maybe the more cool headed elders agreed a peaceful settlement but i don't think his relatives agreed for dia paying. Thus resulting in the killing of the Dhulbahante Police chief.

3? Wishful thinking. As far as we are concerned there is two casualties one being the Dhulbahante Police chief that was killed and the other was a bystander that got wounded badly by the bullets that killed the Police chief he was taken to Ceerigaabo hospital but he died. The city is now under Somaliland military curfew.

Dhulos Elders went to Ceerigabo to solve the Problem & both sided agreed to meet in 2 months, if someone kills someone and escapes what are you suppose to do? Pay the Dia, if you kill some other innocent man, those who killed him will be put to death.

Yes I know the islamic ruling but the initial killer should have been caught, it's not that hard to find him. If I'm not mistaken the family of the killed person can decide whether to receive dia or blood money or to kill the killer.
Anyway this could have been resolved easily, AUN to both the police chiefs

Cumar, there was a Dhulbahante guy who HY killed before the the SL clan chief was killed, and they did not bring the culprit. This is the 4th time it is going back and forth. Btw, the deceased Dhulbahante guy was no police chief in Fiqifuliye. As a matter fact, there is no SL in Fiqifuliye. The whole claim of him being a police is a news to us.

When the HY Police Chief was killed few months ago, we refused to hand-over the Dhulbahante guy when HY did not bring the killer who coducted the killing in 2010.
