I am honestly wondering this. The border of Ethiopia with southern Somalia is Gedo, Bakool, Hiiraan, and Galgaduud. If the popular belief is Ethiopia is main cause of success and not self-organization and military/political structure, how come the Sade border is the only border that has held fort against and defeated Al Shabaab even driving into the interior? While Caabudwaaq is the base of Ahlu Sunnah and and main column against Al Shabab expansion in Galgadud, the Gedo group have also seen tremendous success not only coming from the border but on the verge of freeing all their territory in the Gedo region and beyond. Bakool region and former RRA have virtually seen zero success against Al Shabaab and the Hiiraan forces seem unable to pass the common border at Feerfeer.
Certainly logistical help has been supporting influence but this has been provided to all the border resistant groups. It is obvious Beesha Sade is special in this regard.
