The Somali Silent Majority
Must rise up against the foreign agents in their midst: the Al Shabab, TFG and AMISOM. These outfits are going to prolong the suffering of the masses for as long as is possible. Today, AL Shabab is weakened and on the run. You would think that the TFG would stand up and fill the void while shaking off the image of it being a foreign puppet regime. It instead is signing deals to have Kenyans and Ethiopians invade. It is allowing a two bit Ugandan clown to set the political agenda for Somalia and to run the TFG like its his provincial government. The AL Shabab also earned no favors among the silent majority. It allowed wanted foreign criminals promote their agenda inside Somalia without asking what is in the Somali interest.
The Silent Majority must remain neutral and organize themselves for the time when Al Shabab.TFG & their backers become so weakened that they will be susceptible to being evicted out of Somalia.

Abdisamad3 - Foreign interests will always be there. The Silent Majority needs to show the foreigners that the Somali interest is more desirable & fits the foreign interest.

Most people would agree with this point but question is who would lead this uprising as the situation in somali is very different to other countries.

AW,
I agree. The TFG is useless Al Shabaab could be completely vanquished tomorrow and the TFG wouldn't be able to figure out how to govern. We need to take back our country. Down with TFG, invading nations and al shabaab

Its popular resistance and the first items on the agenda are how to make Kenya, Ethiopia, Burundi and Uganda bleed so hard they think twice about coming into Somalia. The second set of items is to drive out the foreign Al Shabab out of Somalia.
Somalia will be once again a place so inhospitable to foreigners that they avoid it.

The TFG & AL Shabab & AMISOM all need each other. Without the other, they can not survive in Somalia so lets get them to destroy each other.Shirib wrote:AW,

Re: The Somali Silent Majority
thing is they won't destroy each other, it'll take years for them to do that. They will simply throw mortars and missiles at each other from a distance, kill dozens of civilians while they keep about doin what they're doing.AbdiWahab252 wrote:The TFG & AL Shabab & AMISOM all need each other. shirib we need a movement that will raid both the shabab and amisom bases, and everytime they are fighting each other we could come out and kill them from behind,

Tbh i think the most realistic idea would be to let the TFG take over and then suddenly over throw them before they have enough time to settle
