UNDP Managed Somalia's Aid and Iraq Oil For Food Program

These are my observations folks, but I need to see if you also notice the similarities between UNDP managed Somalia Aid funds and Iraq's Oil For Food that was also managed by the UN.

Back in the early 1990s and right after the 1991 Gulf War between Western-led armies and Iraq, the UNSC created a program called Oil-For-Food program. It was intended to control all of Iraq's oil revenues, and to ensure Iraq never uses that money to rebuild its military and infrastructure. It was strictly controlled that it was a UN (aka Western) led group that was monitoring how the funds in the account were spent. It has basically prohibited Iraq from spending the money the way it wanted.

In late 1990s, Iraqi government demanded that the funds for the account be deposited in Euro, and all trade should be conducted thru Euro and never on the US Dollar. There were provisions in the UN resolution that allowed Iraq to make such decisions. Many people believe it was the switching of the funds from US Dollar to Euro that triggered the second Gulf War in 2003.

Similarly, UNSC created a similar account for Somalia thru the UNDP in early 1990s. Since Somalia did not have huge exports, the intention of the program was to manage and control all of the aid intended for Somalia. The HQ of these offices were chosen to be in Nairobi and NY. It is thru this UNDP managed money that any hope of viable Somali State has been kept in-check, and since any Somali government needs support until it is stable enough to generate its own resources, it is thru this UNDP managed account that had kept it from functioning.

The officials from the UNDP decide how much to pay for Somali law makers (TFP), TFP security forces, where the money should go, and how much is spent. Former UN Secterary representative, Ahmed Wallad Abdalla, claimed in 6 months, the UNDP offices in Nairobi claimed to have spent 600 Million dollars in Somalia. No one knows where that money is spent, and if even 10% of money reached Somalia.

^Goljano, if you can't reason, stop hiding behind conspiracy theory. What I have stated are facts and no conspiracy listed there. Both programs, the Iraqi Oil For Food and the Somalia Aid money managed thru UNDP, were created by the UNSC, and both programs were used to control the finances of both countries--Somalia and Iraq.

I beg to differ many like you who take what read on MSM at face value. In my view, we are being desiganted as failed state when all the tools and systems that set up for failure were designed and implemented by those who call us a failed state.
