i don't know how eritetria is more populated than somalinad, on google map Hargeiesa looks biger than Asmera and their second city is Assab which seem to be smaller than both Burco and Borama. may be they have larger rural population or may we under stimate somaliland population.

Re: Eritrea v.s. Somaliland
Waxa ay Somaliland iyo eritrea ku kala duwanyihiin maaha quanity, waa quality. Qualitida siyaasiyiinta, bulshada, elite-ta iyo diasporadal; Taas iyo dawlad dhab/asal ah oo jirta.
Somalidu essentially waa badaw. Iska cawaan. Waayo ? Waxay ku yihiin:
Nabaddii, dhulbeereedkii iyo xeebtiiba way haystaan "somalilanderska" Somaliland ku hadhay. Sidaaso kale lacag, cilmi iyo baasasboorba way haystaan inta qurbaha joogta. Labadooduba lakiin waxan ay haystaan si ay yidhaahdaan ayayna garanayn.
Tolow maxaa sababay ? Meel ayay iska candhaadhsadeen oo ay qaad ku cuni iyo shaah ku cabi, duhurkiina way seexdaan - tabcaan waaxid. Makhribkii marka la toosana, "SomalilandPress" ayaa waraaq loo qoraa lagu leeyay "International community waa inay Somaliland aqoonsataa" !

Sawiro kale waan soo baadhayaa ee I yara sug. Waxan kalee kuleeyhay lakiin, ma' aha magaalooyinka oo qudha waxaan sheegayo. Waxan ka hadlayaa basic infrastructure. Tusaalo. waxa ay dhisteen extensive road network oo intaa lagu kordhinayo. Waxay ay dib u habeeyeen oo ay gacmahooda ku samaayeen wadada 'train' ku maro. Dekadohoodii dig u habayn ayay ku sameeyeen; lamid airports koodi. Dhulbeeroodkooda lacag ayay geliyeen oo waxa ay xitaa isticmaalaan meela qaarkood cilmiyada iyo teknooloogiyaad casriga ah ee beeraha iyada oo Somaliland ay xitaa drip-irrigation ka adkaan weydey. Hadii la is barbar dhigo boqolkii ba bowol reer eritre waa dad dedaala ya. Dawlad shaqaysa oo fikred, tallow iyo waxqabadba leh na way haystaan.The_Emperior5 wrote:Anonymousfaaraax can you post other cities of Eritrea i think they just heavily invested in Asmara and that looks good lets see their other cities.

Re: Eritrea v.s. Somaliland
Total Somaliland
government income is estimated at $50 million, though the government has plans
to increase this above $100 million through more strictly and strenuously applied
taxes. GDP is estimated at (very roughly) $350 per capita for its 3.5 million people
– in fact higher than Tanzania ($280), Eritrea ($190) and Ethiopia ($100).
