Conspiracy theorists could carry an ounce of truth but certainly tonnes of lies.

Al-jazeera is the best thing that happened to the arab world in modern times; without Al-jazeera we could not have witnessed the arabic revolution; without Al-jazeera the arabs would have been at the mercy of information ministers.

P.s. what is the main characteristic of a tyranic regime? It has information ministers.

What conspiracy theories? When people cannot counter with reasonable arguments, they take shelter in conspiracy theory charges. With respect to Al-Jazeera, where in the world has Al-Jazeera inspired Arab masses? As a matter fact, it is a mouth-piece for certian powers where Robert Murdoch, an Israeli citizen, owns 50% of that entity. It is only needed when the certain powers want to overthrow Arab nationalist governments; however, it can never talk about the Emir of Qatar, who owns the other 50% of Al-Jazeera, and who is also one of the worst dictators in the Middle East. To be precise, Al-Jazeera turned its camera off when monarchy in Bahrain was massacring the population in that country with the help of Saudi and UAE armed forces. All of its fuzz was focused on Libya, a Muslim nation that was destroyed with the help of NATO air power and QATARI and UAE mercenaries.

How Al-Jazeera can function under one of the worst dictatorships, never raise its voice against that dictatorships, and promote chaos in other Muslims lands is the question that every one is raising? :idea:

Udun, come on ! You know better. Al-jazeera is the voice of the arab masses. You could at least give them that credit. Don't even go media ownership and wallstreet/financial districts; most of the money there is from the arab world. A big share of stocks of Newsco international is owned by arabs (saudi royal familiy).

Aljazeera brought a new perspective; it has empowered the arab man/woman.

There are only two alternatives;

Dictatorship and democracy. We should only care about the dismantling of dicatorships and this where Al-jazeera has been good. I don't care where it is from or financed by whom.

There is no credit that can given to them when, as a matter fact, it is half owned by Qatari monarchy, and Al-Jazeera fails to ever raise its voice against the Qatari Emir, while they in fact advance the interest of certain powers against Libya, Syria, Iraq, and Sudan.

Aljazeera brought a new perspective; it has empowered the arab man/woman.
Since when ignoring the blight of Bahrain Arab Shia muslims became an empowerment?

There is only one alternative presented by those who use Al-Khanzeera (aka Al-Jazeera) to advance their interest: The removal of every Arab nationalist governments. Independent and nationalist dictatorship is far preverable than puppet monarchies.

Ted Turner, the former owner of CNN, called the Iraq War, "The Robert Murdoch's war," and if that Israeli citizen co-owns 50% of Al-Kanzeera (aka Al-Janzeera), it should cause a concern for every Arab and Muslim. A Muslim should be concerned about of the millions of people who lost their lives in that war, and any one who promoted that war is a war criminal. Muslims and Arabs should know where the loyalty of Al-Janzeera lies.
