Those were just a mere handful of extremists who probably aren’t even Tunisian. Like the lady mentioned, Tunisians are the most secular people in the world.

I definitely prefer the truly secular parties to them. Nevertheless, they were democratically elected and they have promised to draft a secular constitution and have rejected the abhorrent parts of the Islamist manifesto so I’ve come to view them in a cautiously optimist light.

what union doesn't realize is that 'Salafis' are less related to Al qaeda and the likes, whilst the Ennahda branch off from the Egyptian Muslim brotherhood whose direct counterpart is Dr. Ayman Al Zawihiri militant branch.

So Salafis like me are less of a threat than ennahda
