My Somalinet Shukaansi Drama
Folks, I need some advice. Years ago, when I was younger and had a full set of hair, I met this filly on SNEt. We exchanged numbers and started chatting. We got close and then it happened. She told some freaky things about herself, too freaky for AW. Anyway, I realized that this was not for me and bounced. Fortunately, we never met in person and then one day, I saw her at this event in Nairobi. I couldn't believe it and prayed she did not recognize me which she did not. I quickly exited the venue much to the consternation of my friends. Well, things were cool until recently. I am now invited to another event and she will be organizing it.
So folks what should I do ? Any tips to masking my identity ? I mean, I never met her in person, did nothing wrong to her but I feel very awkward meeting her in person.
Thanks,
Abdiwahab.

1. You say, you got close & then it happened; then you say, you never met her. Could you please explain?AbdiWahab252 wrote:Folks, I need some advice. 2. Is she the one that invited you?
3. What are you afraid of? Did you promise that you will marry her?
What i think you should do is to go to the venue and give her the "let's be friends attitude."

Re: My Somalinet Shukaansi Drama
I get your point about this; but one thing that you need to know is that women are not men. A woman can easily forgive a man for past deeds, but a man will find it extremely hard to do so.qoraxeey wrote:why judge her![]()

Another thing, it depends with the extent of the "freakiness" if it's something abominable like "i've done the lesbian thing," any man worth his salt will freak out.

Amal Jaber,
Close as in the sense of were able to have interesting discussions and got to know each other well. We never met alhamudillah.
I was not invited to the event by her. I went because of a friend who was there.
Its the awkwardness as the whole thing ended on a very weird note as I told her I was not interested in taking things any further and ignored all of the follow up calls.

I think the mistake tht you made was to ignore her; that must have made her to feel like trash. But now that you have already told her, i think you can go there and pretend it never happened. Smile, ask how she is going on and you need to show her taht you don't value her any less. In fact, you should add her as your friend on facebook.

Amal Jaber,
I am going to remain incognito and pray she doesn't recognize me. If she does, I will play absent minded. Anyways, whats the worst that could happen.

Re: My Somalinet Shukaansi Drama
If the two of you didn't meet in person (which is what you said) and you didn't send her your pic then how can she know it's you?
If the friend who invited you knew about the situation just tell him/her to not expose you when you're there. Easy!
