The war on Religion, Morals, and Traditional Propriety...

This war is being waged relentlessly by the liberal media, in it's attempt to liberate mankind (or should I say impose) from the shackles of tradition and previous modes of thinking. The reason I say this is that I happened to start a movie (friends with kids) just out of random, and already they have made open their war for all to see except the blind.
In the first two minutes several themes have already been expounded upon. The first of which hilarious the liberalization of normal sexual conventions. The male character wakes up with a girl next to him a sleep in her undies, he picks up a call from his friend (female lead), where he talks about how he probably will get rid of the sleeping girl, insinuating it was just for sex and he doesn't need her anymore. The female lead protests halfheartedly that it was so short a relationship only a couple of weeks or so. He blames his complete disregard for the girl he slept with's feelings on account of his parents and looking under the covers remarks that she will be fine (I can only guess her asset will always bring guys towards her). Then she the female lead also in her bed proceeds to tell him that she has a man in his undies next to him, whom she picked up last night (obviously a one-night-stand), the male lead congratulates her dismisses her remark of "what is wrong with me", where he says "it's not natural...it's been years" and as he put it "she needs to sweep out the cobwebs", and she finally refuses his invitations up despite their partners with a last comment of "I'll just take the pill".
Now in the background what I found absolutely hilarious was that on top of the bedside drawer was "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins, and to top it off on top of the female lead's bedside drawer was "God is Not Great: How religion poisons everything" by Christopher Hitchens.

So Can we list the Themes:
Liberalization of Sex
Blame parents (tradition) for their problems
And last but not least a hint of Atheism

The first two minutes boldly says because of "conservative values and a belief in a God, you are not enjoying this carefree and pleasurable life-stlye"

smh

Man that was not easy to follow, I think it took me till half way to realise this was a movie you were watching and not one you were "starting".

Anywho subliminal messages in the media suck. Boo

BV this was so obvious that it can't possibly be considered subliminal. It's like when you write an essay you want to make a bold claim in the beginning, or your "Declaration of War" per se, and then follow up with your argument. Or in this case benefits attained from this world view. I also forgot to mention the movie is about two friends who watch the rest of their friends lives change as they have kids, and decide hey we will just have a kid and that will be the end of it.

The plot of Friends with Kids revolves around a pair of best friends in their 30s who observe the effect of having kids has taken on the couples they know. To avoid that toll, the best friends resolve to have a child and then date other people.

smh you must be feeling really guilty for wasting you time. But do tell how it ends. If it is a black movie I predict redemption and going back to the church after a dramatic, life changing event.

 Gosh bv your so naive, you make it seem as if their godless life is still in doubt, it's about further towing the line, you remove god, then you remove family, then you remove any morals etc.

One line is "It's like I raped her to have a kid" during an argument of who is going to feed the baby.

It's a funny movie no doubt.

You wait and see. These movies are too predictable.

Lakin to be fair I didn't expect Janet Jackson's husband to die in why did I get married too...

typical movie, the best friends get back together after having a baby and for a time making things work, first the girl falls in love but the guy rejects her. Then the guy falls in love in the end, and runs back to the girl. They become one, not married, but want to be together forever with their child. boring.
