have you every come across this kind of person? and i dont mean the average bachelor who has one night stands every now and then just to bust his nut and go back to normal the next day. im talking about just a normal bloke who decides to keep it bottled up, for whatever reasons. but im sure you heard of many girls who remain single all their lives, though it tends to be because their parents have a stranghold on them.

there was a guy my dad knew before, he is quite old, but in his younger days he just never had a fetish for women (he werent gay btw), but now he regrets it, he finds it so difficult to not comment on a womans outlook when he is on the streets. i think all the hormonal drive rushed in a bit too late.

yeah it happens, especially if theyre veeery pious and ascentic, like imam nawawi who never married in his life. but most wadaads tend to get married young, they like to follow the sunnah and keep themselves clear from zinah.

Didn't know the esteemed imam never married. Are there other notable sahaabis, imams, scholars, etc who never married?

Greenday, he is in his 60s, I doubt he can do anything now.

Arabtmu, the imam never had the time. He spent his life seekin knowledge, teaching the snnah, travelling, waging jihad etc he never felt he could give rights to a woman because of time.
I know ibn taymeeyh never married either, but he did have concubines though.
