I hope you don`t mind me creating this topic and putting you on the spot like this, but I had to ask.

Bro you seem like a decent person(when your not agreeing with the women on everything), you need to know that Islam is a way of life, not something that dawns on you when ever you feel like looking for a higher source to help you or reassure you. Having doubts does not make you gaal, you just need to stay strong and read the quraan and talk to people with more knowledge in Islam. If your going through a phase then don`t say I have left the deen or the deen has left me, just get more involved, and pray, it will easy your soul.

Yes but that is only someone who doesn't realize temporary satisfaction is only just that, temporary. If no permanent physical pleasure can be attained why must someone destroy themselves by chasing after a phantom. Take sure for instance, a few teaspoons in a cup of tea is delicious, but say you had more than enough and you drink it, that will turn you off from your love of sugar or tea. At the same time, effort and patience that bring about success is the key to happiness. Also, anything you enjoy too much brings a displeasure in it, but take the least of satisfactions and make it a rarity, you will see it as the greatest thing. So in truth a limitation brings about an ecstasy.
