5 Principles of the Awdal State Revolution - By Aman H.D. Obsiye

Dear Comrades, The Awdal State is emerging therefore we need to have guidelines to the Revolution at hand. As the Revolution approaches, and the freedom and liberty of the Awdal people become a reality, we need to know who our allies are and who our opponents are.

The Revolution has no gray area, it is black and white. You are either with us, or you are against us. If you are an Awdalite and are against the Awdal State (and for the SNM State, aka Somaliland), let it be known that the People’s Army will hold you accountable.


There are 5 principles of the Revolution, and every comrade of the Awdal State must believe in these 5 principles:

(1). Belief in ONE Somali nation-state (i.e. belief in the Somali Republic);

(2). Belief in the Awdal State as a semi-autonomous federal state (within the Somali Republic);

(3). Belief in the criminality of the SNM. You must believe that they are war criminals and should be tried in a court of law for the many injustices they have inflicted on the Awdalites;

(4). Belief in the Ugaas (may Allah preserve him); and

(5). Belief that in the Somali Republic the overall Somali interest comes first and foremost (i.e. it supersedes any clannish interests), and belief that in the Awdal State the overall Awdal interest comes first and foremost (i.e. it supersedes any clannish interests).

Let it be known that if you do not adhere to these 5 principles of the Revolution you are not a true revolutionary. Our Revolution is not only about defending the honor and integrity of the Awdalites from the SNM and the neo-SNM (i.e. the Somaliland National Army), but also to resurrect our Sacred Somali Republic. Somali nationalism is the foundation of the Awdal State and is the foundation to our Revolution.

The Somali constitution and federal commissioners visited to Somaliland on April in this year

Mogadishu (Sunatimes) - the commissioners of the federal constitution of Somalia met with the Somaliland society parts in Somaliland regions as well as they met with the Somaliland government in Hargeisa led by Ahmed Mohamed Silanyo.
The report from the commissioners of the federal constitution of Somalia which was written in the website of the Somali constitution (dastuur.org) so this report caused many frightening to the Somaliland citizens while they were informed that the commissioners were Somali traditional elders from the ****** clan.

The Somali constitution and federal commissioners visited to Somaliland on April in this year and they met with Somaliland society parts included; traditional elders, women, Students from the university and the official of the Somaliland government.
The Somaliland government put the commissioners out of sights for the independent media in Somaliland while the commissioners of the Somali federal constitution signed with the Somaliland authorities that Somaliland is local autonomy of Somalia in order to receive the budget of the central government of Somalia.

The commissioners of the Somali constitutions polled from the Somaliland society how to write the Somali constitution for the federal government of Somalia.The Somaliland government had informed to Somaliland society that the commissioners of the Somali federal constitution were traditional elders from the Somalia who were researching how Somaliland created peaceful environment and good governance.

Awdal State: " Somaliland/SNM Clan Apartheid In Hargisa Must Stop Terrorizing Innocent Awdal Civilians"

Facts are clear that clan based apartheid in Hargesa continues massacring and terrorizing unarmed Awdal civilians and it’s the time we Awdals secure the lives of our people from now on with help of Allah S.W.T. When people look back history what apartheid in South Africa had done in the past, Hargesa apartheid Clan Administration’s Actions are no different. South Africa had a lot to do with colour while Hargisa apartheid ideology mixed clan and politics. These are two deadly combination and the result can be Rwanda.

They are governing us with guns, putting our demonstrator in jails, murdering our innocent at night and then go free for years. Every political events they have now doesn’t have any meaning for them without slaughtering our people in sleep so time for us to put to end. As far as SNM apartheid administration concern, this should be the last time we deal with African wolves. In day time they wear uniforms own by their clan administration but at nights same people terrorized Awdal civilians. We lost many innocent civilians at the hands of Hargesa apartheid and we must stop this to go farther with our own hands. It doesn’t matter how long it takes us to run our own lives that should our goal. It was approximately a month ago when SNM leader made public that he appointed some of his clansmen which he said they would solved Cell-bardalle conflict. Things were very quit before he made this announcements and his action let to this week’s massacre in Seemaal, Awdal.

Hargesa apartheid has all the tools to carried out terrorism acts but make no mistake the decisions are made from administration’s office. Every time people in Borama tried to free themselves from apartheid or anyone speak about the facts, jails became normal. It’s the time people in Awdal come up all means to govern themselves otherwise they should expected more like these actions continued. The empty talks that followed all time are no longer valid rather these words are causing more pain then good. We know that today Awdals will reach out world community and provide pictures and all facts. At the same time we need to come up some kind of emergency security measure. Nomad Awdal communities must do their parts to help themselves nights and days so we won’t have repeated crimes happening again and again without punishments.

Awdal brothers and sisters we must understand our lives and the lives of our families were always at risk; therefore, until we come up Awdal made security forces no one should think these actions would stop. How can you share political idea with terrorism who ever backing them? What make you think they won’t do the same to each an everyone of us. This could happen to those few Awdal stooges? If these few Awdals face the same in the future by the same criminals, would Awdal communities feel sorry for them? In my opinion, they had all the warning and they are parts of Awdals problems;therefore, what happen to them should be solidly theirs.

I believe these dishonest Awdals have the same chance to be catch by the same criminals while they are trying to please their apartheid masters and running between Borama-Hargisa. We can understand at least 5 top leaders were connected to the crimes. They involved the crimes and promised the criminals for safety and the apartheid system was made this way. We are not here to change their way of thinking or their apartheid system rather we must struggle to be out of the racism clan based administration which brought our people crimes that never heard in Somalia and East-Africa. Gadabursi who say two things at once, Allah may open their hearts and eyes. Their own communities are in pain and in the time of sadness while they come up words that don’t go together.

These words don’t go together: we are sorry about the lost and we are happy how Mr.Sirayo handing things when he is part of the problems. In real world they should know action speak louder than words and actions are just harming Awdals. Second disturbing word is this one: football(soccer) team is doing great in Burco, waar caruurtiina soo ceshada intaa dhexda loo galin. There is no football going on except few lost kinds that play Dusty Burco that punching each other in the name of clan and racism. Clan apartheid in Hargisa run by SNM must stop terrorizing Awdal civilians must stop now.
