Believer and Non-Believer.

Post by zingii »

I am a person of the book, a believer of Allah, his messengers, and the day of judgment.
Upon my death if I was to find out that there was no God and afterlife as atheist would like you
to believe, then I have nothing to worry about since there would be no such thing as hell fire nor heaven. In this scenario the disbeliever and I are of the same and equal for there is nothing to look forward to after death. But if it happens that there is God as I believe then the disbeliever and I, are not on equal footing anymore. This latter scenario the disbeliever has to look forward to hell while I as the believer look forward to heaven (god willing).

I don't know who deleted it but I wrote this response which you can also find in the thread about islamic saints;

I am tired of the nation of preachers, hypocrites and faith abusers.
That is what Somalis are. You cannot engage in a conversation with a Somali online, on the street or at home without getting involved in religious rants. I wouldn’t mind if the preacher is a pious person who has gained a degree in Islamic studies or someone who at least commands a life that is based on the teachings of islam.

Somalis abuse Islam. It is the bogeyman to be called on when there is an intellectual bankruptcy. You will meet a murderer, a thief, a drug add, qat addict, a welfare cheat etc invoke the Islamic card when caught red handed. Islam comes into contention when logic fails, as a last resort to silence someone.

P.s. I think this kind of threads belong to the islamic section. I don't know what your message is

I don’t know how else to rephrase that question but the message being conveyed is, its better to be a believer than a non-believer. I was trying to paint a picture of the believer and the non believer after they die.
