Budden's been talking about this stuff on his Ustream for quite a while. Going on about Em walking into the studio and dropping verses on freestyle. Good to actually see it. Yes to Yela. Can't get enough of him. I'd love to see Bubba Sparxx make a come around as well. His older stuff are a southern rap gem. Not that it's of the same genre.
Tons of other rappers are bringing various genres of rap music back to the forefront. It was never gone, people just wanted something to dance to for a while, unfortunately. This particular genre of rap (mid 90s, in your face, stfu, gangsta rap) was held up as a pinnacle of rap. It isn't that way for everyone.
