Biking from the northern tip of Norway to Denmark. Did that two summers ago.

Another one is walking with a camel caravan from the NFD to Dhagaxbur.

All the images look beyond lovely..

I love travelling.. But I'm a little picky when it comes to my holiday destinations.

I had an amazing time in Oman though.. I would definitely recommend it.. Driving from Dubai, to AD to Al Ain and finally to Oman..

I'd love to go Island hopping for my honeymoon InshaaAllah.. I've got it all planned..

Some friends of mine are organising an expedition to the Russian Tundra next summer. We are planing to hunt deer. As part of that we are planing to bike through Alaska and western Canada... take a flight to Siberia. a 2 months adventure.

I think that will be better than the biking adventure.

Another dream of mine (maybe 2013) is to walk with a camel caravan through the sahara.

Isn't it interesting how most women have the wedding planned, honeymoon planned, how many children and even their names. The guy is just an extra in the show

It is quud aan jirin u qoryo guro.

Honeymoons are not as stimulating as they often are portrayed to be. After the first glass of water -when your thirst is quenched- you finally realise that you are on the margins of economic, social and behaviourial ruins.

A kind of melancholic dejavu

Honeymoons are not supposed to be great vacations, its about alone time with your spouse in a quite and comfortable surroundings..
Mine was 5 days in marakesh , in a traditional riyad..

My best travel experiences was 10 days in tokyo, damn was that great, and a weekend in Abidjan back in 2009, dancing away the whole time.

gurey, where haven't you been to? I've noticed from your comments you've done an intense amount of traveling.

I used to love watching the travel network and OLN. I've been tempted to make a run for it lol.

Alpha i haven't gone anywhere since i got married.
Its a good thing i got to do as much travelling as i could.

marriage changes everything, and my wife god bless her is a conventional somali women, only comfortable with certain food, travelling is a big deal..
When i was single i would take a sports bag, fill it with spare pants two pairs, some sorts , underwear and a couple of shirts and t-shirts, and some socks and spare shoes.
thats it, and i then hop on the plane..

and i would decide to go places on a whim, with little planning, thats where the fun comes from..
and from the people you meet on the road, very interesting people..

Sadly i havnet touched central or southern america yet...
nor have i done east africa..

inshallah in the future..
