Sharif Hassan Urges Madobe to Resign in Exchange for Cash
Counting Votes for New Speaker during election last week
Axed Somali parliament speaker, Sharif Hassan Sheikh Aden, is in political negotiations with Madobe Nunow Mohamed, who was elected as his replacement by more than 280 Somali lawmakers two weeks ago, according to government sources.
Confidential sources indicated to Somalia Report that
Sharif Hassan was in Madobe's hotel over the last two days to try and convince Madobe to step down from his position.
According to the sources,
Sharif Hassan, a master political tactician, sent delegates from the parliament, Somali elites and Somali Diaspora who have a good relations with Madobe as well as Ilyas Bare Shiil, the representative of Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga, to urge Madobe to resign.
“Within the last two days, there was some agreement reached between the official representing Sharif Hassan and Madobe Nunow,” the source said on the condition of anonymity.
“One of the agreements reached was that Mr. Nunoow should resign from his post in exchange for cash.”
Meanwhile, the MPs who fired Sharif Hassan and elected Madobe
held separate meetings with Madobe urging him to stay in the position.
“We had information that the speaker is negotiating with MP Sharif Hassan. We discussed this and told Madobe that we will never allow him to step down. We hope that Sharif will never be back as speaker,” one of lawmakers told Somalia Report on condition of anonymity.
“
We are calling on Madobe to work with us on how to unite the parliament and the government. We also asked the president and prime minister to step in and help,” he added.
Although the international community and Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) were in support of Sharif Hassan, the Somali political climate got more complicated when the MPs decided to take matters into their own hands and oust Hassan.

"Sharif Hassan, a master political tactician"
And by that, I suppose they mean he masterfully transfers some of the funds he receives from Ethiopia and IGAD to bribe the "xildhibaans".
If I ever get rich, I'm just going to buy an entire gobol for the lulz. I'm thinking maybe Bakool, the name sounds epic
"Damn, y'all doin it big in Xuddur?"
"You know how we roll in Bakool"

He is a corrupt bastard & Ethiopia,Kenya support this guy because he promises that he will sign the roadmap & fullfill it.
By the way that "roadmap to peace" actually gives a large part of our sea territory to Kenya, then Kenya gives the right to explore the territory to French & Norweigian Oil companies. They have been waiting since 2006 these foreigners.
Ethiopia want the new Constiution in the Roadmap to make Somalia a fragmented state based on clan- Basicly they are supporting a Ethiopian made constitution witch allows every clane to have a ministate
All this to effectivly maintain Somalia fragmented & Weak. Their lackeys are Faroole,Sharif hassan,Abdiweli & Sheikh sharif.
But NOTHING can become reality if the parliament doesnt agree. And the parliament has refused this Roadmap & have said that Somalia will go back to the 1960 constitution
The new elected speaker is honorable & he wont be corrupted

Sounds like there is still some hope. Such a sad reality.

You can become disillusioned with the leaders of your country.
Some of us don't create new ones when we hate the incumbent President

Bribery and corruption.
What's new?
I can't stand looking at Sharif Xasan's face. He has that sneaky rat look. He looks like a slithering snake that would rob you blind or murder your family if you missed the deadline to pay a debt to him.
I'm guessing he stole a cool $20M AT LEAST.

How can one seriously support not the leaders of the country while still supporting the so called govt. Keep in mind tfg is not somalia
Somalia is the country you can still support you're country like hillqaran or any group why support the govt that allowed xabashi en kenyati in somalia ii fahansi
Please let's not turn this into somaliland this is not about somaliland that country declared it self independent 21 years ago let's stick to the topic the tfp and the tfg. Coeus still has trust in the tfp a new parliament will be selected in june so I don't know
