Women underrepresented in Islamic textual scholarship
What she says is true. I can't think of any female scholar in Islam.
I've never reflected on this reality before. Now that she mentions it, it's shocking half the Muslim population has not contributed anything to the textual scholarship that has formed the canonical basis of the faith. Something must be done about it.

Mohammad Akram Nadwi has written a book about Female scholars in Islam called "Al-Muhaddithat: The Women Scholars in Islam " you should read it. The book is a preface to a compilation of a 40-volume publication containing the biographies of about 8,000 women scholars.
