A new State has been announced today by the Leelkase tribe in the Garsoor Region of Gaalkacyo. This is new state is called "Western Puntland State".
The new state includes Entire Western Area of Mudug, and the Garsoor District of Gaalkacyo.

Khalid, Garsoor is a District of Gaalkacyo, but the new State of "WEST PUNTLAND STATE" will included Galdogob District + Western Gaalkacyo (Garsoor), i.e. like Galmudug, which is Hobyo District + South Gaalkacyo.
Garsoor District of Western Gaalkacyo will be the new Capital, and it includes many towns as well, i.e. Halabookhad, Darasalaam, Faratooyo(In Garsoor District), plus Galdogob District which extends far and beyond into Somali Region of Ethiopia. So it's more then just two districts!
Either way, whatever that comes out of it, it's still Somali Politics, the Central Government in Somalia is isolated to few quarters of the capital, so it's not like there's a Strong Federal Government to unite people, and right now, it's every clan on it's own.
Even Hiiraan State(Dooxada Shabeele) told the Federal Government to more or less FOCK OFF, lol...I love my Xawaadle People, they just don't give a fock of what anyone things of their interests, and I support them wholeheartedly!
first off all leelkase is nowhere near majority in garsoor 2nd faratooyo is close to burtinle learn your geografy
all i can say is this is a declaration of war against cumar maxmuud not PL the plans for this so-called state have been planned for a while by leelkase and the new found allies in galmudug there is no way in hell yall can claim garsoor as a pure leelkase district and those teknikals in that video is a clear breach of the treaty signed in Garowe first your militias ambushed PL troops last year and triggered a war and now you're claiming garsoor as your capital...SMFH

p.s. I know where Faratooyo is, it's at the Border of Mudug and Nugaal right above Xarfo(Buuryaqab), and it's a Reer Fiqi(Leelkase) Territory, and there's no one but Allah that is going to change that.
I used to support Puntland, but after seeing Maakhiri(Warsangeli), SSC(Dhulbahante) and Ras Caseyr(Siwaaqroon), abandon the sinking Garoowe Ship, why would i keep trying to sail with it? Even after the sneaky attack we defeated in Garsoor in Sept. 2010??

WHO is CLAIMING anything, WE ALREADY HAVE IT! There is no need to even mention this, it's futile, like arguing over Southern Gaalkacyo with the Sacad's, lol....sure there are mixed areas in the boundaries of Garsoor and Israac District, my house in Gaalkacyo is around the Boundary, and it will not be moved, if its part of Garsoor sure, if it goes to Israac, let it be, it's not like you can move Gaalkacyo no matter what name you give it, i.e. Banaadir is 18 districts, your house can be in anyone of those districts, but your allegiance might lie in another district, at the end of the day it's all good.

There is not a Single GOBOL(State or region) in Somalia, but different clans settle, whether from the same tribe or different. Whatever is shared will be split in half, or shared equally.
