I'm a horrible guest. I talk and do very little. A houseplant is more productive and interesting.
Suggestions!

Old Country Buffet and Nickelodeon rides at Mall of America (don't bother shop there, they have like 4 stores in "the biggest mall of America", Sears, TJ Max and more Sears).

Go to cedar, get shah from the corner store and just pull up a random chair (Im sure there about dozens leaning against fences or under trees) and observe somalis in their closest natural habitat.

Still a guest
Been to Old Country twice. Sucks, and over priced imo. Was at MOA today. I hate, despise, loathe malls.
Advo, no time to sit and people watch.

So if you're still there, have you made friends with any of the hosts? They could help you out.

I'll be venturing about on my own, most definitely.
People please! Time is of the essence! blitz, I may have to take you up on that offer.

I been here for ages, so as an exprienced Minneapualitan, I suggested these places:
Mall 24 ( good somali mall, food, shopping, on 24th and chicago)
Karamel Mall (oldest Somali mall, more organized and better than Mall 24)
Global Village (on lake and chicago, cool, hip international Bazaar)
Cedar Neighborhood (Somali-harlem, oldest historic Somali neighborhood in Minnesota)
Uptown (entertainment, art, eating, hippsters)
Mall of America (sea world, Nickoledeon park, Cinema, food court, shopping)
St.paul (state capital city, historic buildings)
Downtown Minneapolis Block E (entertainment and night life)
Downtown Mpls -Nicollet Mall
Minneapolis Public Library Downtown (one of the biggest in Midwest
Minnesota Science Musuem
Coma zoo
Valley Fair (biggest, fastest rollercloasters in town)
Lake Calhoune (cool, fun walk, boat rental)
Lake Minnetonka ( big lake, rich ppl go to hung out)
