At what age should we teach

Well to be honest it should be taught in history lessons. A child should start school at 6-7 prior to that be taught at home by parents or go to pre-school (if our country has any, if not build some). Education is priceless, especially the history of your people.

Between 9 and 12 i would say. 5 is too young for that kind of historical education.

Teaching the kids about the history of Somalis in general is a good thing that shouldn't be overlooked but indoctrinating them to believe in a SL entity that simply doesn't exist is the wrong way to go and will only create further hostility than there already is right now. You can't claim culture over deen at the end of day.

He said his school doenst have a club. I asked him do you know who koodbuur is he said no. Didn't they teach u at school he said noo what about ur parents he said his dad is most time is working in dubai and his mother didn't tel him either. So I told him about mujahid koodbuur and why I a part of hargeysa is called koodbuur a short biography of mr ibrahim koodbuur. I told him you could not play ball or go to school if it wasn't for kood buur and the likes of him he was 11. 11 jir is a big man I think nice age would be 9 years old. Smart kid he was
