Hi, here is for a good laugh, after public smoking was banned in kenya , each town clerk was assigned the duty of posting notices in kiswahili to that effect. See how different councils posted this advert: other councils are still working on theirs.......

Its a beautiful language go to the coastal regions or Tanzania especialy Zanzibar.

Kenyans butcher the language lakin Swahili is not easy. To this day I still don't know all the ngelis.

To learn broken random Af Nairobi is easy. To learn proper sanifu and fasaha and oh my goodness to write insha with similes and metaphors and vocabulary. Madax xanuun.

Kiswahili was a torture for us in school.
How I hated I remember I once got 20% in that subject.
Shit was hard
In exam I remember turning over the pages several times looking for easy poems/literature even though it was just few pages to turn I thought in the end a miracle will happen and the paper will turn out easy. But to my dismay the paper was solid.

Some folks will just create their own question and answer it just to console themselves.
