1962: Saudi Arabia abolishes slavery
1962: Yemen abolishes slavery
1963: United Arab Emirates abolishes slavery
1970: Oman abolishes slavery
1981: Mauritania abolishes slavery

Mauritania and Oman literately allowed slavery as a legal business during the time of the Kacaan, you could just go to a slave market and buy yourself a human being. :shock: :shock:

It is much more complicated than that . You just do not go to the market and buy a human being . FAH made a post about it the other day .Redudant !

That's beside the point. Arabs were the last major world block to end slavery all the while claiming to be devout Muslims. And the legacy of that wicked practice lingers on to the present as exhibited by rampant discrimination faced by blacks folks, migrant workers, maids, etc. Just a couple or so weeks ago they massacred 20 asylum seeking Somalis on the border between Yemen and Saudi Arabia for no reason other than they were black. We saw what they did to blacks in Libya. Could you imagine the uproar had those 20 Somalis were slaughtered by the West?

why is slavery automatically associated with negros? romans use to enslave the babarians tribes such as the guls from france, germans the romans also enslaved arabs and brits.

the british send over 30 thousand white irish as slaves to america
